Can some one alter the post name and poll name?
I just can edit the post.
I've just reported your thread to ask for the title to be changed.
In the future, you can do the same, using the REPORT button on the first post in your thread.
All the best.
P.S. - @ BrianL
P.P.S - As this thread is less than a week old, the OP should be able to click 'Edit' and then "Go Advanced" and from there, should be able to change the thread title.

I use XFCE, its very fast but not that minimalist, have a great look and its growing.
I like to see more effort in Slackware for these DE, so I seeing what people use.
I want to know if I'm battling a lose battle
I used XFCE for a long time, recently I've switched to Gnome with occasional fits of madness when I run stumpwm, a tiling WM (a screenshot from stumpwm's website)
