Where is samba password file - need to list samba users

I need to see who all the Samba users are. Some other distros keep that in /etc/samba/smbpassword file but I don't have that file here.

Using Slackware 13.1 (64)

The samba password backend files are in /etc/samba/private/ by default in Slackware.

try
Code:
pdbedit -w -L
Edit:
Ahh sorry, just noticed you said you don't have /etc/samba/private/smbpasswd

In that case you might try

Code:
tdbdump /etc/samba/private/secrets.tdb
or perhaps tdbtool

Just tried that, and you should run it on passdb.tdb, so
Code:
tdbdump /etc/samba/private/passdb.tdb | grep USER
should show your samba users for which you have assigned a password.
