What is pango?


My friend told me that newer pango is good. Can we use it in dropline gnome?

I use pango 1.2.5. Is that what you mean by the new version? I mostly use English. The occasional times that I run across International fonts I have noticed no problems with pango.
I remember that it works OK on Thai script and Japanese characters.
