Well if the cd was burned in Mac os there are two fs :
hfs = normal apple filesystem, corresponding module: hfs
hfs+ = apple filesystem extended, coresponding module : hfsplus
Make sure your kernel support them
cat /proc/filesystems
/sbin/modprobe -l | grep fs
I guess from your infos that the CD is formated with hfs+ so if you have not the hfsplus module, you have to recompile your kernel with it (as module it is better).
I am not sure whether the CD has been formated with hfs+. My guess is, it is not. However, I have all the filesystem compile either as build-in or module. I did a lsmod didn't see hfs or hfs+ module loaded.
What makes it very odd is that, Slackware mount it alright, when I ls at the first level it was ok, second level, only one file appear out of many many others. df shows 11meg has been used.
Hmm.. anybody have this kind of problem with udf format?
