I was told to use Wine or VMware to emulate windows programs...I know what Wine is...But whats VMware! All I want to do is run windows programs like Juno and a few others! at the website for VMware they have workstartion and server...what one is for me!!! I dunno!!! Which do i get! I am using Slackware 9!!!
VMware emulate a full windows os ( or linux,freebsd.......)
And wine emulate only a programme.

no use vmware . you can install everything on that. I just love vmware! great to run windows programs, and great to test and os, or modifications in an os.
I got VMware and also a..serial...hehe...( save me some money...15 and I aint got no job...) Anyways if I install it on Slack all I got to do is creat a virtual drive and install XP?!? That it!!! I was running Knoppix off the CD on XP!!! WAY COOL! BUT I would like to run Server 2003 but i need the cd you..know if I got everything to run nicely on Slack I would have NO need for a dual boot with XP... you know i gotta try this out! Got any tips for this program?!?

What he means is you take your fabulous 15 year old self onto the internet, do some searches, go to http://www.google.com/linux, maybe try to find some Linux HOWTO's (no, we will *not* tell you what and where those are), and if all that is too much trouble for you you can even do a search on this very forum.
