videos not proper


i have installed slackware 11 .. but the videos r not coming proper. the clarity goes off when the screen is maximized. what should i do?

Maybe too high screen resolution or selected wrong driver in the media player

run xine-check from a terminal window, that should tell you if there is anything wrong with your x.org settings or if DMA is turned off on your drives.
