usb-slackware

I often had tryed to install slack13 on my usb stick, but finaly it does not work.

I've made two partitions root 3G swap 1G, after the setup step I dont reboot:
#chroot /mnt
check kernel with ls -la /boot/vmlinuz

Code:
mkinitrd -c -k 2.6.29.5-smp -m ext4:usbcore:uhci_hcd:ehci_hcd:ohci_hcd:usb_stoarge -f ext4 -w 10 -r /dev/sda1 -l de -h /dev/sda2 -o /boot/initrd.usb.gz
after that edit the lilo.conf and add

Code:
# Append any additional kernel parameters:
append="resume=/dev/sda2 vt.default_utf8=0"
prompt
timeout = 50
# VESA framebuffer console @ 1024x768x64k
vga = 773
# ramdisk = 0     # paranoia setting
# End LILO global section
# Linux bootable partition config begins
image = /boot/vmlinuz
initrd = /boot/initrd.usb.gz
  root = /dev/sda1
  label = linux
  read-only # Partitions should be mounted read-only for checking
# Linux bootable partition config ends
and

#lilo

...
It dosn't work, can anybody helps me ?

thanks carlitoco

/dev/sda is the USB stick I am assuming? The first thing I would try is running mkinitrd again with the -o pointing to /dev/sda. It looks like the initrd was placed in your actual computers /boot location. I am not certain that is the cause, it's just the first thing I would try if I were doing this myself.
