This affects anyone using slackpkg+, not just current.

This is a pretty radical "fix", why not just comment out the relevant lines is slackpkgplus.conf? You must not have a lot of third party packages to manage.
The issue is on-going. I check my mirrors by hand and they are up.
Code:
# slackpkg update

I use REPOPLUS=( alienbob restricted slackpkgplus ) with slackpkg+-1.8.0.
The owner of this thread is pleased to undo SOLVED, as the problem is not resolved.
Thread search list this thread as SOLVED, but it is not. slackpkg+ do not work.
you can comment those lines out for slackpkgplus.conf if you choose
or you can use
That would probably be way this thread is marked as solved
Slackware64-current.
Thanks, I tested the above.
The result is not satisfactory:
Correct results with offered multilib packages - all offered are newer then installed
Slackpkg+-1.8 offered, but version 1.9f installed
speex-1.2.0 from alien offered, but speex-1.2.1 from main repository installed
So I can not trust that settings, as some older packegas are offered as instaled.
