Two network cards on Slackware 11

I've got two network cards for internet and lan.
I can't make them work at the same time.

I turn on one card, then another, and the first one works perfectly, when second doesn't want to "look" at the net.

So, I can be only in one network -- internet or lan.

eth0 172.16.10.1 Bcast 172.16.255.255 Mask 255.255.0.0
eth1 172.16.10.2 Bcast 172.16.10.255 Mask 255.255.255.0

If your eth0 card is connected directly to the internet, then you would normally set that card up to connect via DHCP.

My setup

green.tmg.net
eth0 DHCP (internet)
eth1 192.168.0.1 (connection to lan (laptop & printer))
usb0 192.168.0.4 (connection to zaurus)

Network Printer
192.168.0.2

black.tmg.net
192.168.0.3 (laptop)

silver.tmg.net
192.168.0.5 (zaurus)
