I agree... I know it will run 10.2. When I installed slack on my last laptop I ended up doing it several times until I got it perfect... I was hoping to call on someone elses experience with this laptop so I would only have to do it once
I don't have the same laptop, but Slackware 10.2 runs smoothly on my Toshibal Satellite Pro 4300. No problems, whatsoever, all hardware usable as expected.
Toshiba laptop are generally well supported by Linux.
