Top reports 1 zombie - which one?

Top reports that I have one zombie process. Having used Slackware daily for 2 years now, I've never ever had a zombie process, and now top reports at least one zombie process continuously, even immediately after boot.

While top tells me 1 running, 82 sleeping, 0 stopped and 1 zombie process, it doesn't state *which* program causes the offence.

How do I tell top, ps or other tools to tell which process/program is the offender, and what could be the cause of this when no changes (other than upgrading to latest -current) have been made recently?

Thanks in advance
