tint won't work in openbox on a 12.2 box

Hello,

I installed tint from Slackbuilds.
I made a autostart.sh file in the .openbox directory.
The autostart.sh looks like this :

tint

But when I start openbox no panel visible.

Who can help me to solve this ?

Roelof

The panel tint is actually called tint2; tint is a tetris-like game. The Openbox documentation recommends autostart.sh something like
Code:
(sleep 2 && tint2) &
Open a terminal after starting Openbox, execute the command tint2, and look for error messages.

Hello,

Thank you for the tip.

Your suggestion does not work. Tint isn't displayed.
On slackbuilds tint2 is named tint so I used this name.

When I open a terminal Tint is displayed without error messages.

Hello,

Be sure your autostart.sh is within the correct directory (~/.config/openbox), and that it has +x permissions.

Best wishes,
Andrew

hello,

I think that's the problem.
Like i said it put it in a /root/.openbox directory.
