for some reason swaret keeps failing getting the package list from ftp.linuxpackages.net my browser also reports page not found.. anyone know about that?
if you would look at the post.. i said.. the browser is also reporting that the page is not found.. so it seems to be a problem with linuxpackages.net... i just didn't know what the deal was...
I tried ftp.linuxpackages.net through FTP - no luck - are you sure it serves FTP, I use HTTP and it works fine. Swaret is used for updating packages from official site and it's mirrors.
yes I'm aware.. I did uncomment it.. I downloaded the swaret-development release, and it works. I double checked the LP.net mirror and *that one* uses http...so apparently when the original swaret was release it used FTP, and now it uses http...
