I f I used swaret to install install gcc-java-3.2.3-i486-1 and it is installed in whatever the default location is how can I link i tto konqueror?

You can link it using the 'ln' command ('man ln' for more details), but if your intention is to use java while browsing, I'm not sure the gcc-java program is what you want. It likely includes the runtime, but you'll want to link to the runtime, not the programming apparatus.
