Question Support different languages in desktop?

Hello

I'm checking out Slax, which is Slackware-based, but as Slackware has more users, I figured I should also ask here.

I need to switch between locales (FR/US, mainly), ie. not just the keyboard layout but also the language used in the menus. This is for a kiosk in a hotel, so the user must be able to switch the interface to different languages.

Does Slackware support this?

Thank you.

slax is not slackware: language handling in particular is different, so any suggestion on how to do this with slax don't apply to slackware (and so the opposite).

I think you have to wait until someone answers you in slax's forum

Assuming you use KDE, I guess it's more a question if KDE supports it.

Yes, with all those parts, it's difficult to know who's in charge.

Adding the US language module and rebooting solved the problem, save for a few strings here and there still in FR.

Thank you.
