Slackware parallel make (make -j?) question.

I thought I had bookmarked a thread about this awhile back but I guess I didn't. Is there a way to set make with the --jobs (-j?)command globally so that I don't have to edit each slackbuild and change the make command manually.

Code:
export MAKEFLAGS="-j n"
where n is a number. I think you can throw this in /etc/sbopkg/sbopkg.conf if you use sbopkg.

Wouldn't you put it in .bashrc?

If you want it globally outside of sbopkg then sure. If you go that route it's probably best to put it in .bash_profile though, in case you compile in a login shell.

That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks
