Okay... not familiar with that error. What occurs after that? Does the machine just sit there, doesn't continue to boot? Is this during kernel load or after Init starts? Need more to go on.
It didn't boot. But I figured it out. Slackware never installed LILO. So I went back and had it install LILO and then wrote changes to partition. Now it boots up just fine. Once again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the continued support. you all are great!
