slackware-current apache/php problem
Hey all:
I like 'living on the edge', and running slackware-current. I just installed a fresh ISO I made from the updated current tree as of 2/28/03.
Previously, to get apache working with PHP, all I had to do was edit httpf.conf, and uncomment the line that includes mod_php.conf. Then I restarted apache, and everything was cool.
With the latest packages, this no longer works. When I make the change to httpd.conf, the try 'apachectl start' I get:
Cannot load /usr/libexec/libphp4.so into server: /usr/libexec/libphp4.so: undefined symbol: OpenSSL_add_all_algorithms
/usr/sbin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started
I see in the changelog that there are new openssl packages, and I'm wondering if something didin't get hosed along the way?

I have the same problem, but i have updated openssl to openssl-0.9.7a and php to 4.3.1 and apache to 1.3.27 and i still get the same error:
php: relocation error: php: undefined symbol: OpenSSL_add_all_algorithms
so is there any other package to update too ???

fix
Hey:
Well, this has been fixed in current.
It sounds like the update to the newer version of openssl broke a lot of things. I fyou check the current changelog, you'll see that almost every package that depends on it has been recompiled against it, and updated.
Anyway, running the latest slackware-current, it now works fine.
