Slackware 9, No antialiasing.


Hmm... when I activate font antialiasing in KDE, nothing happens. The fonts stay the same. Help?

I'm using the nVidia drivers, if it makes a difference.

Search the forums, there are lots of threads on this.

Get the BITSTREAM VERA fonts. Search google.

I did search these forums, but found nowt of interest, you cheeky little monkey.

Thanks! I remember reading about these fonts somewhere. Anything special I should know about installing them? I haven't had a chance yet. I got them from Slackware-current.

Also since then I have sort of got the antialiasing working anyway, but I'll try the Bitstream fonts anyhoo.
