The version of Flash offered to Linux distributions is quite old and may not work any longer with various websites.
An alternative is to use Google Chrome or Chromium which offers Pepper-Flash, or you can use Freshplayerplugin with Pepper-flash through Firefox and compatible browsers with the Chrome/Chromium packages.
Have you tried this:
Download the latest .tar.gz version for linux from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?no_redirect.
Find the appropriate slackbuild in your slackware-package-repository: cd to
Code:
./slackware(64)-current/extra/flashplayer-plugin/
.
Run the flashplayer-plugin.SlackBuild with the downloaded tar.gz and you get a slackware-specific package to "upgrade --install-new" in /tmp.
I tried both SBo and Alien packages, websites always report that flash isn't installed.
Can you be more specific. What flash packages, downloaded where? What version of chromium, and where did you obtain that package?
Chromium will not work with my flashplayer-plugin package; Firefox should work.
FF and chrome default to html5 google it and then go into about:config and set it to use flash instead of html5.
you can always go here https://www.youtube.com/html5 and if you have the option for flash then use it. and then youtube will use flash if not you will have to configure it.
Chromium or chrome have it set up with websites that want you to see the commercials so they will load the ppapi and use flash.
If you are complaining about playback for html5 open your pavucontrol and make sure it is set to the correct device and not monitor or the html5 embedded video will not load or play.

I used :

flashplayer-plugin-11.2.202.559-x86_64-1ponce
flashplayer-plugin-11.2.202.559-x86_64-1alien
chromium-47.0.2526.73-x86_64-1alien

As I said earlier, those flashplayer-plugin packages will not work with chromium. The Linux flashplayer-plugin is an NPAPI plugin (i.e. Mozilla browser compatible) for which Google removed support from its browser log ago.
If you want flash in chromium you will need this PPAPI based plugin instead: http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slac...rflash-plugin/
It worked one week ago with the previous up to date current I had. Can't say why.
I don't think so unless you were running a very old Chromium because NPAPI support was removed from Chrom(e|ium) for Linux in release 35, and that was back in April 2014.

Hey! Awesome! It only took 795 days But I already found it is much easier to just let Eric (Alien Bob) compile it for me Thanks Eric!
Well, looking at that git entry, he just took my SlackBuild, my wrapper script, stripped all my comments from the SlackBuild and added his own 'copyright' line to make it his own. So much for giving credit. It's not even funny.

Well, we all know the hard work that goes into your scripts to make them amazing. I still marvel at your VLC SlackBuild and am always humbled when I look through it. It's too bad the "maintainer" wasn't even willing to keep you as the source of his script. Any scripts that I adapt always keep the previous copyrights intact and add my information if I've modified it.
