Slackware 13.0 on aspire one

Ok, I'm trying to install slackware 13 on an acer aspire one here, but I'm out of luck.

What I've tried:

Well, first off, I read this howto:
http://www.thev.net/cgi-bin/awki.cgi...amp=1222950371

But he used the Linpus kernel (Linpus isn't shipped with D150). It could probably work with the huge kernel, but I'm not to steady with making bootdisks.

So, I tried alienbobs usbboot.img. That did actually work in the sense that it could boot, but it couldn't mount the iso image (DVD, The error message said something about the iso beeing to large or something).

I googled around for an our, and didn't find very much. I ran across a program called unetbootin, but apparently it doesn't work with slackware.

I tried flashing a thumbdrive with the CD1.iso. It was a long shot, i know. But I'm desperate. In the near future, I have a few ours off now and then, but not enough to do something like this. So If I'm not able to make it work tonight, I might have to wait a week or two. Perhaps even longer. And I don't want to wait that long :P

So, is there any tricks I didn't run across out there, that could help a desperate fellow?

Edit:
I tried out alien bobs usbboot.img again, but this time I mounted the cd1 iso, since the dvd apparently was to large. Anyway, the installer only installed .tgz packages and dropped .txz packages.

Hi... I did an USB-stick install to my Asus EEE 900HA using Alien Bob's create_multipartboot.sh script. Here is my step-by-step guide ... Hope it helps!

Ok, I'm officially stupid. I wanted to hurry and install slackware, so instead of reading two pages of how to make my own bootable USB from alianbobs page, I downloaded a premade one. Since it diddn't work, I spent two ours trying to find a "quick fix". Well, since I couldn't find a quick fix, I ended up reading alien bobs page anyway, and my installation was running 15minutes later..
