just tried to build gecko-mediaplayer with a fully up-to-date Slackware 14.1 and got a load of warnings and errors in the build. Has anyone else had a problem with this package?

I've tried to update the scripts to the 1.0.9 versions, already tagged in their svn since some months but never released (gecko-mediaplayer seems to need an additional patch over 1.0.9, though)

thanks for the update, ponce! Yes, gecko-mediaplayer needed the debian patch listed on the svn site for building with xulrunner/seamonkey 2.30+. Previously built binaries should still work, fine, however, after minor library updates.
