Slackbuild gecko-mediaplayer broken on 14.1?

just tried to build gecko-mediaplayer with a fully up-to-date Slackware 14.1 and got a load of warnings and errors in the build. Has anyone else had a problem with this package?

For a meaningful answer you need to provide meaningful information. Where are these errors and warnings? Show them!

I'll get an output log posted tomorrow Eric. Don't worry.

Here's the output log I was able to grab.

Dependencies gnome-mplayer-1.0.8 and gmtk-1.0.8 are installed.

Most likely an issue with the newer seamonkey libraries. Have you tried the newer gecko-mediaplayer-1.0.9b sources yet?

I've tried to update the scripts to the 1.0.9 versions, already tagged in their svn since some months but never released (gecko-mediaplayer seems to need an additional patch over 1.0.9, though)

Thanks Eric and ponce. I'll resync my sbo pull and if it's not up-to-date I'll grab ponce's.

Update: Grabbed ponce's SBo files and rebuilt and it works now. Thanks.

Ponce, actually there are release tarballs for 1.0.9, it's just that the download location has changed. See the googlecode website(s).

thanks for the update, ponce! Yes, gecko-mediaplayer needed the debian patch listed on the svn site for building with xulrunner/seamonkey 2.30+. Previously built binaries should still work, fine, however, after minor library updates.
