Slack 10.1 will a Slack 10 Wine pkg work?

Hi,

I ask if that pkg for 10 works on Slack 10.1 or if it instead be too likely for it to break stuff.

With very great results I used checkinstall and did compiling from source to makes a Slack package and also installs the package. It's slick. I did this with Akregator, clweather, and a few other from their source.

So I could download the latest Wine source and checkinstall it. Unless the already made package for 10 works on 10.1 Slackware.

I'm a bit new is why I ask. But wow I'm impressed with that checkinstall so far.

Thanks. Alan.
