simple xfce/slackware question
lol... it's been a long day so please forgive-
so at the bottom of my screen in xfce i got my bar with my clock, & terminal, icons for my web browser, music player etc. at the top of my screen- i should have another bar- & evertime i reduce a webpage or app- it should appear as a small box in the bar at the top of the screen. except- the bar at the top of the screen is gone. lol. so everytime i reduce a webpage, etc.... it disappears. this is annoying i can't find the setting to bring it back- any ideas? lol.
p.s. xfce works fine on all other accounts, just this account is messed up (my main account.) i don't know the proper name for that bar thingie that's supposed to be at the top of my screen & the odd hours i've been working have left me absolutely loopy & sleep deprived. please forgive.
You could try to deleting the .cache and .config directories in your /home/"username" directory. Reboot after doing this. Beware this will erase all of your xfce settings, and make new .cache and .config directories.
I only suggest this because I had a similar disappearing panel problem with xfce, and that was the only solution
