Sharing desktop session for n00vice?


does anybody do this?

I am frustrated for a start...

What, exactly, are you trying to do? I can think of a number of ways to "share" a desktop session, but I'm not sure which you're referring to.

In am thinking to set-up VNC session so someone can have look through my system and answer my questions.
I need to have few applications installed and have not enough time to find out what the heck am I doing wrong.

In order for you to share your desktop with someone else, you'll need x11vnc, which is available as a Slackbuild.

There are other options, but this is the most similar to how vnc is used in Windows.
