Setting up a PCMCIA - PCI adapter

I have a Ricoh PCMCIA PCI adapter that lets me use PCMCIA cards in my desktop computer. Right now a WPC54G 802.11G card is loaded into the slot. Everything works fine in windows; how should I go about installing the PCMCIA adapter in Slackware?
