I've been looking for a good documentation on configuring Sendmail + Courier IMAP (with MailDir) but I can't find one. My server's specs:

Slackware 10, Sendmail (latest version) and Procmail (version comes with in slackware 10 in CD).

Currently, I'm using the IMAP and POP server distributed with Slackware 10. I want to switch to Courier IMAP and make use of their MailDir feature and MySQL auth, but I can't find a good tutorial or howto. I believe you can help me with this one.

Ok thanks. But my problem is i dont know how can configure Courier-IMAP and use it on SendMail. I need documentation at least or HowTo.

I hope you will give me any a good doc's or tut's for that.

There are plenty of good tutorials on the web, just google.

Just give me one search tip to get those good tutoriuals, i've been serching for this & never got any good how to sendmail + Courier-IMAP.. i easy to say go & google.. more helpfull to help us finding the path ;-)

I use postfix as it's much easier to configure and secure than sendmail, so I wouldn't be able to steer you right with Sendmail ;(

I installed courier-imap package tgz from linuxpackages.net. I started the daemon via /etc/rc.d/rc.courier-imap start and its running fine.

But when I try to login on SquirrelMail Page, I got

"ERROR : Connection dropped by imap-server."

When I try KMail Client and email to some user, I didn't get any message.

What how can i figure out this problem to solve?
