Samba and Windows


I go in nautilus and type: smb:/// it shows me the other computers group, them I click and it show the machines when I try connect to the machine double-clicking it it askme for a login, domains and password, I tryed all my and the other computer accounts and I still cant connect...

I remember have used in debian this same way, and when this part comes I just clicked cancel and I could see the computer files... now I dont know what to do... :///

It shouldn't have simply displayed the files in the past, unless their was no security applied to it. When browsing samba shares and prompted for logins, when I had it set up it needed the domain and username in the form of:
Code:
domain+username
and then the password. It depends what your domain separator is as defined in your smb.conf. It might be '+' or '\', but so long as that user has permissions on the WIndows share, you should gain access to the files.
