running smb4k as a user on Slackware 10.0

There is a new version of smb4k on linuxpackages.net
If you use this as a normal user, on mounting a windows share an error box pops up about needing to run smbmnt suid root

This is solved by chmod +s /usr/bin/smbmnt

You usually need to chmod /usr/bin/smbumount as well

Thanks, that fixes the unmounting too. Nice to see this working properly at last and so far no probles transferring files. Before I had to login as root which is something I have learnt the hard way not do :-)
