resolution


can't figure out how to set my resolution highger than 1024x768. already tweaked xorg.conf a bit, but still can't use higher res. what's up with that?

oh and btw, how's pat doing?

Have you tried this ?

Code:
    Subsection "Display"
        Depth       24
        Modes       "1280x1024" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
        ViewPort    0 0
    EndSubsection
This should be in the "Screen" Section.

are the frequency-settings for your monitor correct ?
check the monitor-manual....
