Remote Desktop or VNC

Does anybody know of any good applications I could use to remotely connect to my Linux Box KDE desktop with a vnc or remote desktop protocol. I have tried Real VNC in the past and was unsuccesfull. Thanks in advance.

x11vnc works fine for me, it shares your current X session not a new/different one like other vnc solutions.
It's smooth, secure and well documented

Just a note, if both boxes are GNU/Linux using KDE, the VNC protocols are built into KDE and you need no additional software.

freeNX - would be the way to go. Easy to use and excellent compression transfer ratios.
