Random enumeration of NIC, from eth0 to eth2...?

Hello to everyone here!
I have an issue with newly installed Slackware 13.1. It keeps forgeting
the enumeration of my two NIC, one of them is wireless Z-Com XI626 which worked fine in Slack 12.2. Now every time I reboot I need to reconfigure my scripts for association with AP because slack forgets its previous enumeration. I tried to find the answer here but couldn't find any that corresponds to my problem. If this issue has been discussed, please redirect me to it.

Cheers.

Hi,

Looks like a NIC & WNIC.

You can look at '/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules'.

As for redirecting, do a Search here on LQ with proper keywords.
