process '/usr/bin/lrzip' started with executable stack


Is this a problem ?

I wanted to know if this is an error message, or a bug in lrzip

It's an error

Where are you seeing this. From using lrzip or as a result of lrzip being used by anther program. In order words what is producing this.

I tested a bit with lrzip, I am unable to reproduce.

I use slackware64-current and the version of lrzip is 0.641.
