problem with the src2slack script

I attempted to use the src2slack script for the first time in quite a while. Before I never had any problems with it but now it keeps on giving me the following message

/root/desmume-0.9.tar.gz is extracted, but usual source dir (./desmume-0.9) does not exist.

It then asks me if I want to see a list of extracted files and then exits no matter if I say yes or no. I even re-downloaded the script in case it had been changed in some way and it is still doing this. This happens no matter where I put either the script file or the compressed file.

I've never used src2slack, so I can't help you out there. But there is already a slackbuild script for it at slackbuilds.org.
