Question problem booting bare.i off the cd to install on my laptop

I have used this CD to install Slackware 9 on four or five machines now so I know it isn't corrupt or anything like that. when i press enter to boot bare.i after booting off the cd it stops at a line that says:
ALI15X3: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later
the laptop is a fujitsu lifebook and has a transmeta crusoe 867.

Does anyone know how I can get this to work or even where I could look to find out how to make it work?
thanks in advance

Do a google search for installing Slack on a laptop and see if there is a different kernel you should boot into for the install on a laptop. I've never tried installing it on a laptop so I am not sure how.

Have you read the Slackware-HOWTO and BOOTING.TXT files in the root directory of the install disk? You may be able to pick up some clues there.

Enjoy!
