powertop 2.0 out

For laptop users, this may interest you: PowerTOP got a major version bump to 2.0, featuring a major overhaul of the code and new tabbed interface. They also now have a new homepage, at https://01.org/powertop/ (among other Intel open source projects.)

I got this new version building with Pat's 1.13 SlackBuild, changing it by the addition of a './configure' invocation; the new powertop needs a manpage though.

PowerTOP is truly excellent - thanks to its advice I've been enjoying battery life under Linux almost as high as under Windows. The 1.9x betas have been working great for well over a year and it's nice to finally see a stable 2.0 release - hopefully this new version makes it into -current

ftp://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/slackware/s.../ChangeLog.txt:

Code:
ap/powertop-2.0-x86_64-1.txz: Upgraded.
Looks like the man page and most translations are gone now. :/
Thanks to Willy Sudiarto Raharjo for the updated build script.
