After update when I tried to upgrade system slackpkg list packages to upgrade showed kernel version older than already installed. After switching to another mirror things went back to normal. The outdated mirror was not synced at least for three, four days.

If no, then it is not an officially known mirror and you'll have to contact the site's maintainer yourself.
Mirror is on slackpkg mirrors list. But is not on list link points to. Inconsistency? Wouldn't be better slackpkg mirrors list be the same as list the link points to?
