pkgtools problem???


i lost the pkgtool database and can't install new tgz packets...
how could i generate this database again????

Where was the last place you set it down?

What commands are you trying? What results are you getting? Are you using a GUI interface or doing it from the command line?
etc... etc...

i have just installed the checkinstall packet and the slackpkg (slackware update system) then i downloaded the kernel 2.4.22 and try to compile ( IT was when i got the problem: "Ncurses 's not installed")

then i used pkgtool to remove ncurses and reinstall it from the tgz package...THEN "kaput"!!!
