pkgtool does not work


I installed slack 10.2 on a system and when i try pkgtool as root or user it does not bring up the menu, I just get the command not found message. Did I not install something? How can I get pkgtool to work. Thanks.

when you installed slackare did you un-check (disable) any packages that were checked for install by default?

try mounting disk 1 of the distro and do a cd /mnt/slackware then find . -name *pkgtool* -print;
navigate to the location it is and do a installpkg pkgtool...
