Phoronix-Test-Suite recommends the install of ia32-libs
I'm trying to run a benchmark for my AMD Pitcairn 7850.
Code:
bash-4.2$ phoronix-test-suite benchmark 1303122-FO-AMDRADEON68
Some additional dependencies are required, but they could not be installed automatically for your operating system.
Below are the software packages that must be installed.
Phoronix Test Suite v5.2.1
32-bit Libraries / Compatibility For Linux
Possible Package Names: ia32-libs
The above dependencies should be installed before proceeding. Press any key when you're ready to continue.
I've looked around a bit, and most just say to install the multilib libraries from alienBOB. I've already done that though and am at loss as the only other mention about ia-32 libs is a thread about getting java to run in Slackware64.
If your using the catalyst drivers for your Radeon card, then one step people tend to forget is to make sure you rebuild your catalyst driver after doing the update to multilib. This way it will build the required 32 bit catalyst drivers.

Also tried to install the missing packages.

May I ask what php packages you had to install for Slackware?
Not sure what you mean, I'm just using the ones provided by the install cd. Also, have switched to current branch, mostly to update a couple programs and have yet to switch fully to it. Tried to also run the benchmark and it reported errors and most would not run.

ia32-libs is the name commonly used for the multilib on debian (and derived). If you have installed the multilib from alienBob, don't bother with this message. However, if you have trouble with 32-bit software, compat32pkg can help you to identify the missing dependencies :
This command lists the dependencies required by the 32-bit binary <bin32>, or the 32-bit binaries accessible from <path>, or the 32-bit binaries from the installed package <package-name>.
If you want to benchmark your video-card only, I suggest you to do that with unigine (valley comes with a 64-bit binary, I don't remember for the others).

bash-4.2# compat32pkg --depends ia32-libs
compat32pkg ver. 1.6.131213 (stable)

(ERROR) [--depends] No installed package that matches the name "ia32-libs"
If at all possible, I'd like to get this working as well as it can without another benchmark tool.

ia32-libs is the name of the multilib on debian (and derived). If you have installed Eric's multilib, ignore the phoronix's messages "32-bit Libraries / Compatibility For Linux ...".
After that, if the benchmark does not work, this means Phoronix requires something which is not part of Slackware (and/or Eric's multilib).
Note:
The benchmark you want uses the benchmark I talked about in my previous post (ie unigine valley). So, if you have too many troubles with phoronix, it would be a good idea to directly use unigine valley.
