pgktool questions

Ok I understand how to use pkgtool, but am unsure of how or if you can add modules to an installation by using it. If I have a program installed, in this case proftpd and I want modules added should I remove the proftpd package and reinstall using source or is there a way to pass --with-mysql and other modules using the pkgtool. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kedelfor,
I highly doubt it as with pkgtool it maintains packages (install, remove, etc.) not alter's them. And if Im correct the options you want look like they would have to be compiled in from source. But hey if Im wrong hopefully someone else will jump in and correct me and you will get your answer.

Thanks for the clarification. So if I want special options then I should compile the source.
