permisstion problem


hello

today while changing permission i unfortunately

give chmod a+x /usr/local/lib/media

then it was taking a long time so i use ctrl+c

then then chmod 777 to the folder

but now while startup i am seeing it shows my ss_host should private to me so that other can't read this

show warning

Please post the exact errors
not sure what ss_host is, need more info please

also please post:

ls -al /usr/local/lib

i won't understand that

it was also loading some mod that i haven't select and my system do not load this
like samba and apache etc (there was so so many prob that i can't fix all properly
and other major prob too

then i backup my data
and install the slack 9.1 kernel from cd
then upgrade from hdd to slackware 10.0
