pen disk read only...

I have a pen disk. It's configurate in fstab like this:
/dev/sda1 /mnt/pen auto defaults,noauto,user,ro 0 0
But when I try move a file for the pen disk the system says that's the device is:
Read-only file system
What change I need to make in fstab to the pen disk to be a device not read-only?

remove the ",ro" after "user"
and defaults you can also leave out
so it should look like this:

/dev/sda1 /mnt/pen auto noauto,user 0 0
that should do the trick

try removing the "ro" from your fstab or changing it to "rw".

Well, I was a bit slow with the reply and was beaten to it

as far as i know "rw" is put automatically if there is no other command given like "ro". so as far as i know you can leave it out.

rw

Thanks for that info, I realised after I'd posted that it wasn't really necessary.
