pcmcia help

I'm trying to get a Belkin F5D5020 setup with Slackware 9.0 but no luck. This card is supposedly supported, I've added the correct lines to /etc/pcmcia/config. The lights on the card flash, but I can't dhcpcd or set it up with ifconfig.....cardctl config sees it there, but cardctl ident has no info for it. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Once you added the lines did you restart pcmcia? You should hear two beep if things are going your way.

/etc/init.d/pcmcia restart

That is for RedHat but yours should be somewhere similar

Try this if you haven't

http://www.tuxmobil.org/pcmcia_ci10403.html

That should tell you what module to bind the card to. Hopefully you can get your two beeps and run ifconfig eth1 then dhclient.

Sorry if this doesn't help

When you installed, did you use the PCMCIA kernel, or the regular bare.i kernel? Im pretty sure you have to use the pcmcia one.

I don't see a pcmcia kernel at all, but don't really think it would help at all neways cause I have all the pcmcia stuff compiled into the kernel already
