Serious bummer, feel sad. I really liked his videos. He actually got me back into Slackware, I quit using it around 2007-2008 to check out other distributions. I wondered about Slackware and looked up some youtube videos, he popped right up. Thanks to him I am back on Slackware, it fits like a glove and is truly home as a computer setup.

The final frontier which nobody can win - sooner or later it arrives. It is indeed very sad to feel this event and all the memories from the youtube videos that he made, I had quickly become very amused & fascinated by the gusto with which he made the videos. There is something very inspiring about watching an old man filled with energy inquiring like a child. I don't know what are the words that needs to be said. I was as stunned on the day I first heard of his affliction as I am today.

Sad news. Always enjoyed his videos and his kind-generous-honest-sincere demeanor, like hanging out with a friend. The comment sections show that he helped so many people. May the lives he touched and the selfless help he provided be an inspiration to all of us. Steve (OTB), many blessings to you on your next journey!
