openSSL certificates

Hi, I installed a certificate in my Slackware64 13.37, one provided by my research institute.

I put the file in /usr/local/share/ca-certificates and I run update-ca-certificates.

The command return one certificate added.

And I can see the certificate.pem in /etc/ssl/certs.

The problem is that when i use git to store my code I get the followin error:
Quote:
bash-4.1$ git clone https://mantunes@helios.av.it.pt/git/xcoa
Cloning into xcoa...
Password:
error: SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details:
error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed while accessing https://mantunes@helios.av.it.pt/git/xcoa/info/refs

fatal: HTTP request failed
Anyone can help me?

Because your CA Root Certificates can only be reached at http://atnog.av.it.pt/ca?

One strange thing is, if I point CURL_CA_BUNDLE to the path of my certificate. I can access that page with curl.

--- New info ---

I found out a solution.
The problem is that my curl is not looking for my openssl certificates.
Maybe an bug in this version, don't known.
This blog presents a solution that work for me.
