NVIDIA and console

After installing nvidia drivers a problem with console appeared. Every time I login to X (gnome 2.6) and press for e.g. ctrl-alt-F1 console is black with coloured dots. The same screen appears after logout from X.

Any suggestions how to solve this problem?

do you get the same with ctl-alt-F2
are you starting x with startx or are you running gdm?

Yes.I get the same screen with all consoles.

I am starting X with startx.
