ntpd (Guide)

Hello!
This is a guide to let Slackware synchronizing with time servers. You can download some files and a script if you like. I made this guide for Slackware installed on Raspberry Pi 2, but it works the same way with the usual Slackware install.

Thanks for the heads-up on the tutorial; I really had trouble figuring out the right config for ntp, and this tutorial cleared it right up!

You really came in clutch with this one. I just got my RPi2 yesterday and am about to rip my hair off trying to get NTP working all morning today. Thank you a lot I really do appreciate it!

EDIT: Why is this using a custom script and not the regular NTP in Slackware?

Hey!
A very good question! I wanted to learn how it worked. And I probably did not understand how to handle the built-in functions (2006). :-)
