not starting korgac and kttsd

I'm trying to optimise my Slack12 box.

korgac (reminder daemon?) and kttsd (text-to-speech converter daemon?) are both started and run but I don't know how to configure them not to start.

I use KDE:Kontact for access to Kmail and aKregator (yuk to that name!).

Any thoughts? Other things I can stop? Do I need gam_server (fam replacement) when using stock kde packages?

You can configure KDE and choose which services you want to start when you login..
I belive it is in the KDE Control Center -> KDE components -> Services

Im not sure though, since i am "working" right now on this piece of crap Windows Machine

I don't have either of those as services in the list though ...
