That is, indeed, another big problem :/

The only other project I'm aware of is called ISPconfig, which (without actually checking) I think is distribution agnostic.

But it does rely on a very specific set up of your system - certain daemons, tools, layouts etc... which may not fit with my preferred software stack and configuration.

Many problems to consider

What about something to document and celebrate the history of Slackware? This kind of info seems to be very scattered across the web, so those interested in Slackware's history might appreciate some of this info being pulled together into something more comprehensive. Perhaps hints and tips on installing older versions in VMs might go well with this? They don't all play nicely at first with the emulated hardware in qemu, I imagine it may be the same with other virtualisation software, and some tweaking is needed. Preinstalled images could even be provided. I'm sure it would also appeal to those who pop up with occasional questions about installing on very old hardware.

Side Note:
For those that said they were interested in a host that offered Slackware, I use HostUS.us which offers Slackware OpenVZ VPS and KVM.
I went with them specifically because I was looking for a provider that offered Slackware.

What about slackware.cloud as a hub for everything slackware?

People could share useful scripts and findings but to make it less "bloggy" it would be designed somewhat like a "software store". Making it easy for people to "grab" (visualize and replicate whatever setup on their systems).

Like firewall configs or misc scripts for keeping packets like chrome up to date. Scripts for building latest kde (or gnome) with a more suitable layout (than a thread like this) for specific versioning tips and comments.

And to give it's cloud name a meaning it could be possible for people to create an account and store privately their specific configs and notes, a system like slackware can take a lot of tweaking and fixes that you may need to go trough again in the future.

It's all about setting it up on github and make it piece by piece, i would contribute with front and backend. And i'm sure there are more and better ideas that could make something like this really useful and exciting for everyone using slackware.
